Custom Pattern Making Course - The Basics

A complete pattern-making course to learn how to create the four most important basic patterns: skirt, dartless bodice, darted bodice and sleeve, and trousers. For both women and men. These bases will then allow you to develop any custom-made garment.

You will always work with your own measurements and receive personalized feedback to achieve a precise and professional base.

Throughout the course, you will build your patterns, make prototypes, and adjust each piece until you achieve a perfect base, ready to be transformed into any design.

An ideal course for those who want to learn pattern making from scratch and build a solid technical foundation for designing and creating custom-made garments.

The program is divided into four modules that cover all the pillars of custom pattern making:

Basic skirt • Basic dartless bodice • Basic darted bodice and sleeve • Basic trousers. The final result: your adjusted basic patterns, ready to use and transform.

11 sessions of 2 hours each (22 hours in total).

Materials
We include notes, rulers, set squares, and essential pattern-making tools.
Students must bring pattern paper and calico for prototypes.
