Custom Pattern Making Course - The Basics

A complete pattern-making course to learn how to create the four most important basic patterns: skirt, bodice without darts, bodice with darts and sleeves, and trousers. Suitable for both women and men . These foundations will allow you to later develop any custom-made garment.

You will always work with your own measurements and receive personalized corrections to obtain a precise and professional foundation.

Throughout the course you will build your patterns, make prototypes and adjust each piece until you achieve a perfect base ready to transform into any design.

An ideal course for those who want to learn pattern making from scratch and build a solid technical foundation to design and make custom-made garments.

The program is divided into four modules that cover all the pillars of bespoke pattern making:

Basic skirt • Basic bodice without darts • Basic bodice with darts and sleeves • Basic trousers The final result: your basic patterns fully adjusted and ready to use and transform .

11 sessions of 2 hours each (22 hours in total).

Materials
We include notes, rulers, set squares, and essential pattern-making tools.
The student must bring pattern paper and muslin for the prototypes.
