A softly structured vest with a boxy cut, two welt pockets and a simple belt sewn into the back. Layer it up in winter or wear it alone in summer in a distressed linen. All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated. Skill Level: Intermediate. (Leaving the welt pockets would make this an advanced brand for beginners) Fabric suggestions: 5-8 oz linen, 5-10 oz denim, light and medium corduroy, wool, wool blends, cotton canvas or twill. For lining: lightweight fabrics such as calico, cotton lawn, cotton, cotton blends, and tencel/linen (when choosing cloth, keep in mind that the lining fabric may be visible).
